Description
English: Brat's Moss Looking towards Brat's Moss from Low Longrigg. Brat is an old Celtic dialect word for apron and relates to legends of giants dropping stones from their aprons. The Moss is covered with ancient cairns and stone circles. There is also Sampson's Bratful in Ennerdale and The Devils Apronful in Yorkshire
