Description
Português: O brasão apresenta como suporte duas cornucópias com cereais: ramos de trigo e espigas de milho, simbolizando a produção agrícola. Cornucópia é um vaso em forma de chifre. O chifre é um símbolo antigo de fertilidade, riqueza e abundância. As cornucópias estão unidas por um laço de fita com a data de instalação do município, 21 de setembro de 1908.

As árvores que aparecem são a araucária e a erva-mate. Entre elas, o rio Iguaçu. A âncora e o timão são símbolos da navegação a vapor, representando importante fase para a economia do município. Na parte superior, uma referência às Armas da República.
