Description Direct Rail Service (DRS) Class 37 locomotive 37419 eases its train round the 20mph speed restriction as it approaches the swing bridge over the River Yare whilst working the 2J80 1455 Norwich to Lowestoft service. The train is formed of a pair of MkII carriages, with 37419 at the front, and 37405 at the rear. Greater Anglia hires the locomotives and carriages (known as the 'short set') to cover for a shortage of DMUs. The Norwich-Lowestoft still has the feel of a traditional branch line, with its semaphore signalling and signal boxes at most stations.
