Description
English: Two ends of the same USB cable, one having been cut off and its wires exposed.

Within the braid shielding, there is, from left to right: 1. An unisolated ground wire. Contact with USB-ground as well as USB connector metal confirmed. 2. Red power line. Connection to USB +5V confirmed. 3. Green data line 4. White data line 5. What looks like a nylon thread. Nonconductive.

6. A longitudinal foil of what looks like aluminium, tears like aluminium (not metallized plastic) with no visible lamination. Couldn't measure any surface conductivity (possibly the oxide layer).
