Description
English: Braes Of Balloch cup and ring marked stone Discovered by JB Mackenzie in 1895, this one metre square slab is finely carved with several cup-marks, ringed cups and grooves. http://canmore.rcahms.gov.uk/en/site/24897/details/braes+of+balloch/ Carvings of this symbolic cup and ring type are usually attributed to the prehistoric peoples of the Neolithic or Bronze Age and there are several others in the area. The view is west towards Loch Tay and Ben Lawers.
