Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Bradley Manor at Bewdley. Bewdley is arguably the best surviving example of a Great Western Railway country junction station, looking perfect in the midday sun. The mainline here was Shrewsbury to Hartlebury, but by changing trains you could reach Kidderminster, Stourport and Tenbury Wells. Today trains for Bridgnorth and Kidderminster have just departed, leaving the station deserted - just as it would have been in GWR days. Everything about the GWR looks right - the benches, the footbridge, the signals, the colour scheme, not to mention magnificent locomotives and chocolate and cream coaches. The modern day SVR has all of these and more. Bradley Manor, no 7802, has recently been restored to traffic and makes my point eloquently. She rests between duties.
