Description
English: Cast copper-alloy casket/chest mount. Flat, but with slightly convex profile. Pointed terminal attached to rounded end which has a circular rivet hole and two diagonal mouldings at the junction with the rectangular bi-facial shaft. There are three raised squares along the shaft; the terminal one has a circular rivet hole and moulded cross-hatched decoration. Dark brown patina.
