Description
English: An incomplete and worn copper-alloy Roman Colchester derivative bow brooch. Only part of the spring, axis bar and pin survives, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn.

The spring chord, spring with three surviving coils and pin are all formed from the same piece of wire. The axis bar is separately cast and copper-alloy.

This brooch measures 44.80mm in length, 13.25mm in width, 6.91mm in thickness, 2.82g in weight.
