Title
Bow brooch
Description
English: Head fragment of a bow brooch, probably of T-shape type. The fragment consists of the top of the bow, which is straight sided, and is thinning at the break. The bow is angled at the head, before another break on the plate. The wings are tubular with a flat face at the front, and decorated at each end with two incised lines. The top of the pin survives, with the brooch employing a hinge mechanism.
