Bow brooch
Description
English: Complete Roman Severn-type brooch. Spring of nine turns, chord passed through ornamental crest. Arms decorated with vertical grooves. Enamelled panel with two long rectangular cells on top half of bow. Traces of turquoise and possibly red enamel surviving. Button, indicated by two small leaves below. Vertical groove down leg, small moulded foot knob. Pin bent. Catchplate intact.
