English: Copper alloy

Brooch. Fragment of a cast Bow and fantail Brooch comprising an expanded foot plate with scroll ornament on its display face below a medial collar; the rest of upper bow and head is lost. A stub of a catch-plate is retained on the back. Suggested date: Early Roman, 75-175.

Length: 29.5mm, Width: 11.9mm, Thickness (clear of catch-plate): 2mm, Weight: 3.19gms.
