Notes bow and five arrows, as used in initial stages of unrest on Bougainville. Bow and arrows purchased by Graeme Doull at market in Bougainville (1999); being sold as ‘same type of weapons being used during initial period of hostilities Graeme Doull joined the regular army in 1995 as part of the Queen Alexandra Mounted Rifles. From May to June 1999 he served as part of the Peace Monitoring Group (PMG) on Bougainville, Papua New Guinea. He subsequently served (October 1999 to February 2000) as part of the International Force for East Timor (INTERFET), a UN peacekeeping group.
