Bow BROOCH
Description
English: Fragment, cast copper-alloy bow brooch. Folded, tubular wings housing pin spring mechanism. D-sectioned bow with narrow median ridge. There are two vertical grooves at the end of each wing and there are two irregular mouldings on the head. There is a ridge with a horizontal line either side at the junction of the head and bow and a median ridge down the bow. The pin is intact, but bent. Silvery grey patina. L: 18 (with pin): 50.5 W: 9-23 (frag, good)
