Description
English: Bousteads on the Hudeshope Beck. Remains of Bousteads near Skears Hushes. Miners formed themselves into teams and were paid “piecework” According to the amount of lead ore that they mined. The ore was placed in a bay in the bousteads ---- a series of bays.
