Statue at the entrance to Le Bourget Airport near Paris, honoring Charles Nungesser and François Coli, who attempted to fly across the Atlantic aboard The White Bird (L'Oiseau Blanc), and disappeared without a trace, and Charles Lindbergh who made successfully the same feat two weeks later. |
