Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Boundary stone on Erringden Moor There are several of these stones along the line of the footpath from Broad Head to Johnny's gap. They have the letter 'A' cut on the north-west face and 'S' on the south-east face. Abbreviations for former administrative districts, or just the names of families whose land they separated?
