| Description |
English: Boundary stone, Woodhead Road, Holme I could not see an inscription on this stone, but the shape and the vertical groove strongly suggest a boundary stone and it might have indicated a detached part of Holme within Austonley; the civil parish boundaries shown on the 1854 six-inch map are unclear. Up above the retaining wall there is a small square reservoir for the mill premises, which was Holmbridge Dye House. |
