Summary
[edit]DescriptionBoundaries at the edge of Auchendennan Muir - geograph.org.uk - 697442.jpg |
English: Boundaries at the edge of Auchendennan Muir Several political boundaries run through the point at which this photo was taken, and they continue towards the corner of Auchendennan Muir (the open moorland seen to the right of the fence). The line marks the edge of West Dunbartonshire, both as a Westminster Constituency and as a Unitary Authority.
Appropriately, there are also several physical boundaries here running along the same line: to the left, receding into the distance, are the fringes of the woodland that covers Darleith Muir; running parallel to this is a largely moss-covered dry-stone wall; finally, next to that, a barbed-wire fence. The trees in the background cover the steeply-sloping ascent to Gouk Hill. |
