English: Plate 4, Folio 4 of a series of 13 prints of designs for carriages or coaches. Carriage decorated in Rococo motif, shown in elevation, with details of the various parts at upper left and upper right. The body of the coach is asymmetrical and consists of a single painted panel with decorative mounts, possibly to be executed in bronze. On the panel, a chinoiserie figural scene depicting a man flying a kite and a woman holding a fan near a child in a garden landscape with an oversized flower. |
