English: Plate 3 of a series of 23 prints featuring monkeys acting as humans in various figural scenes. On a small hill, a standing monkey wearing a waistcoat and pants with a music box strapped to his front and a magic lantern viewing machine strapped to his back; the figure approximates an operator of optical amusements. He cranks the handle on the music box and gapes with his mouth wide open, facing towards the right. A church and small town visible in background.
