Boulderfield above Loch Etchachan

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Boulderfield above Loch Etchachan. Much of the higher Monadh Ruadh is covered in boulderfields. Soil forms slowly up here, and crags and slabs shattered from frost exposure at the end of the iceage are still exposed. The going can be quite good, as the granite gives good friction. I like walking in this terrain.
