Svenska: Karikatyr i Folkskollärarnas tidning 8/1920 av skolinspektör Karl Nordlund vilken var motståndare till folkskolan som bottenskola. Dennes replik syftar till ett uttalande denne kort innan fört fram emot bottenskolan.

Den framstormande demokratin:
- Vi kräver en gemensam barndomsskola för hela folket.
Första folskolinspektör Nordlund (nyligen omplanterad till folkskolan från Östermalms lärovärk):
- Den uppgiften är vi inte mäktiga, för den svenska nationen har en aristokratisk resning.
En röst från Östermalm:
- Säg också åt dom, att ifall folkskolan blir bottenskola sätter vi våra barn i privatskola.
En annan röst från samma håll:

- Mycket riktigt. Det har vi råd till.
