Nederlands: Bottemannehuis is een grachtenhuis aan de Oudegracht 221 te Alkmaar.
Het werd gesticht in 1775 door steenhouwer Willem Bekker (1747-1817), dan de landgoed is opgenomen door Bottemanne familie aan de late achttiende eeuw. Familiebedrijf installeert de pakhuis, stallen en bijgebouw op de gracht in de buurt van het huis (Oudegracht 227). Het herenhuis is een typisch voorbeeld van patriciër architecture voor de late achttiende eeuw, met baksteenarchitectuur en parement, lijstgevel zeer rijk gesneden onder omlopend schilddak, breed schuifvensters in empire-trant, stucwerk sculpturen, gesneden voordeur, stoep met stoephek. Binnen, lange marmergang, twee empire-plafonds en een aantal salons gedecoreerd in Empirestijl. Het pand in 1970 was gekraakt door de Kabouter beweging, werd het als één van de eerste panden in Nederland ontruimd. Facaden en stucwerkdecoraties werden hersteld. Het landgoed is nu een particulier bezit.

Fondée en 1775 par le tailleur de pierre Willem Bekker (1747-1817), la propriété est acquise et aménagée par la famille Bottemanne dès la fin du XVIIIe siècle. L'entreprise familiale installe ses entrepôts, écuries et dépendances sur le canal à proximité de la propriété (Oudegracht 227). La propriété est un exemple typique de l'architecture patricienne de la fin du XVIIIe siècle, avec façade en brique rouge et pierre de taille surmontée d'une corniche richement sculptée, grandes fenêtres de style Empire, sculptures en stuc. A l'intérieur, quelques éléments d'origine en marbre, plafonds et salons de style Second-Empire. Un jardin grillagé borde le versant Est de la propriété. La propriété souffre de vandalisme au cours des manifestations de 1970. Les façades et ornements en stuc sont restaurés dans les années 1990. Le domaine est aujourd'hui une propriété privée.
English: Bottemannehuis is a mansion on the old canal of Alkmaar, located at 221 Oudegracht.
Founded in 1775 by the stonemason Willem Bekker (1747-1817), the property is acquired by Bottemanne family from the late eighteenth century. The family business moved its warehouses and stables on the canal, near the property (Oudegracht 227). The mansion is a typical example of patrician architecture of XVIIIe century, with red brick façade topped with a richly carved cornice, stucco sculptures, large Empire style windows. Inside, some original features marble, Second Empire-style ceilings and lounges. A walled garden borders the eastern side of the property. The property suffers vandalism during the protests 1970.
