3. Danmarks Vedplanter og Halv-Vedplanter 99 hvor hele Lunde dannes af den. Skulde dette nøjsomme Træ ikke egne sig til Anvendelse i vore Hede- og Klitplantager? Det siges at have lange, højt liggende Rødder, som binder Sandskraaninger godt. Robinien opnaar i Danmark en betydelig Højde; i Parken ved Dronninggaard fandtes 1899 et Træ med o. .12 Mands Højde. Lange nævner et Træ med 22,60 m Højde og 4,39 m Omfang. Den formerer sig vil- lig ved Rodskud og naturlig Aflægning. Som andre Rælg- planter har den Rodknolde og er formodentlig kvælstofsam- lende, hvilket turde gøre den yderligere værdifuld for Hede- og Klitplantager. Den har sent Løvspring, blomstrer rigelig, men sætter næppe Frugt. Lit.: H. & O.: 393. Joh. Lange 1886: 133; 1892: 94. A. Mentz i Salmonsens Lexikon. OGP. 1908: 364; 1916: 312. Guldregn (Cytisus labur- num L., Laburnum vulgare Griseb.). Har hjemme i Sydeu- ropa. Kan blive et ret stort Træ ; to flerstammede i Tyskland har 1,26 m i Tværsnit ved Grunden (Rolle) ; Langes største Højde er 13,18 m og 1,3 m Omf. Hos os findes den almindelig i Haver, men træffes ogsaa forvildet, plantes undertiden i Hegn og Læbælter. — Ogsaa andre, men buskformede Arter af Cytisus findes forvildet.

I vore Haver findes fremdeles en Række udenlandske Træer almindelig plantede, men da de vist aldrig er fundne forvildede, forbigaas de her. Saa- danne er bl. a. Platan (Platanus acerifolia Willd.); Valnød (Juglans regia L.); Pterocarya fraxinifolia Sach.; Tulipantræ (Liriodendron tulipifera L.) og andre. Om disse og andre Arter henvises til O. G. Petersens Forst- botanik og Dendrologi, om Størrelserne til Lange og Heering. Naaletræer. Danmark har f. T. ingen vildt voksende større Træer af Naale- træernes Klasse. Den eneste Art, om hvilken der kan blive Tale, er Taxen (Taxus baccata L.; Norsk: Barlind; Svensk: Id). Taxen vides kun at vokse vildt eet Sted i Danmark, nemlig ved Vejle Fjord, og nu vist kun i Underskoven i en fugtig Skovdal ved 7*
