tis crassiusculis paullo supra basin densiuscule bar-batis; ovario anguste ovato, superne sensim in stylum elongatum crassumabeunte, stigmate globoso parvo. Die Internodien sind nur 2—3 cm lang. Die ührfederranken sind bis zur Teilung^;i —4 cm lang. Die Blatlsliele sind 4—ö mm, die Spreite 8—I I cm lang, 3—4,0 cm 106 Beiträge zur Flora von Afrika. XXVII. breit. Die Blütenständc sind im ganzen 2,5—5,5 cm lang, davon beträgt der bliitenloseTeil 1,5—3,5 cm. Die Brakteen sind 4—S mm lang, 2—5 mm breit. Die Blütenstielchensind -1—1,5 mm lang. Die Kelchblätter sind etwa 2,5 mm lang, 3-4 mm breit. Die Kroneist etwa 3,5 mm hoch, davon beträgt der Tubus etwa i/o mm ; die Lappen sind ca.1 mm breit. Die Staubfäden sind ca. 2 mm lang. Kamerun: Bipindi, im Urwald (Zenker n. 2868. — Blühend imMärz). Diese neue Art stellt einen ganz eigenartigen Typus der Gattung dar; sie ist ver-wandt mit einem bisher noch unbeschriebenen Strychnos (= Pholidonema Klaineanumlierre).
