Bosra cathedral

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This is a pilgrimage church dedicated to the saints Sergius, Leontius and Bacchus (three Roman soldiers who suffered martyrdom to profess their faith), dating to 511-12. The plan is that of a circle within a square, thus a centralized church, and an important example of early christian buildings, but little remained. Fragments show great decoration.
