Description
English: The Bore, built 1898 by A/S Helsingørs Jernskips og Maskinbyggeri, Helsingør, Denmark, for Ångfartygs Ab Bore. Bore entered service Åbo-Mariehamn-Stockholm route.

Run aground in dense fog on 31 December 1899 and declared total loss, 1901 refloated, repaired and purchased back, and renamed Bore I. 1914 requisitioned by Russian Navy, 1915 reverted to Bore, 1916 forced to sale to Russian Government, and served as Grif on the route Helsinki-Reval-Kronstadt-Petrograd.

Damaged by fire 13 April 1918 and wrecked at Hanko, 1918 wreck passed to Finnish Government and salvaged.

In 1919 it was sold to Finska Ångfartygs Ab (FAA) and returned to its original Åbo-Mariehamn-Stockholm route as the Hebe. In 1926 Hebe was bought back by Ångfartygs A, B. Bore and rebuilt 1927, reverted to the name Bore I. It was broken up in Germany in 1961.
