Description |
English: Large copper alloy book clasp. Broken along a horizontal axis into two halves. 110mm long and 17mm wide, although splaying out to 20mm at the end. The hook is broken at teh return and 6mm wide. The clasp is broken through a central rivet hole, with five rivet holes towards the splayed end, positioned in a row of two, and a row of three. A single rivet hole is placed 10mm from the hook end. Post-Medieval. |
