Of the institutions of learning the JohnsHopkins University and the Womans Col-lege have students from all over the world.The Johns Hopkins Hospital is one of thegreatest medical institutions in the world. Famous among its public buildings isthe new court house of granite and marble,and the city hall of marble. While there are not many sky-scrapersthere are some that vie with New Yorkand Chicago. A noticeable feature in thecitys architecture is that many of thebanks and trust buildings are not more thantwo stories in height and are magnificentin their finishings.
