COSMOS NEW GIANT VARIETIES. COSMOS, NEW GIANT FANCY—This new strain of Cos- mos is notable both for purity of color and the gigantic size of itsfiowers. The broad petals overlap each other producing perfectly circular flowers of splendid sub- stance, which measure 4 inches across, sometimes even reaching 5 inches in diameter. Pkt lOcts, 3 pkts. 25 cts. COSMOS, NEW YELLOW—A distinct new variety, with beautiful yellow flowers, blooming from early Summer to late in the Fall. Pkt 10 cts.

COSMOS, NEW GIANT WHITE AND PINK—Very grand and beautiful; giant flowers of purest white, sometimes very lightly tinged with pink. pkt. 5 cts. COSMOS^ THE KLONDIKE, New—The so-called Yellow Cosmos which I never offered is not a Cosmos at all! It is simply the old small-flowered Bidens f erulagf olia. This va- riety from Mexico, now first introduced, produced at Ford- hook the past Summer magnificent brieht vellowflowers, 2% to 3 inches in diameter, pkt. 10 cts., 3 pkts. for 25 cts. COSMOS DAWN—This new variety comes into bloom in July and continues to flower until cut down by severe frost. Of good size; the handsome circular f owers are white, with a delicate tint of rose at the base of the petals. The plants are of a compact, bushy growth, about four and one-half feet. Valuable particularly for the North, where the seasons are too short for other strains, per pkt. 10 cts., 3 pkts. for 25 cts. MARGUERITE CARNATIONS, CALIFORNIA GIANTS—This is a greatlv improved strain of the New Marguerite Carnation, which is so popular because itproduces fine, fragrant, double flowers in only four months from seed. The plants are dwarf and compact, though of vigorous growth. Comes into blot m earlier than the Marguerites. Produces much larger and more finely double flowers, continue to bloom profusely until the flower buds are destroyed by heavy frosts. Finest colors, mixed.per pkt, 15 cts., 2 pkts for 25 cts. NEW DWARF MARGARET CARNATION— Likeitsparent. the Margaret, this Carnation blooms in 4 months from sowins:. but it is much in advance of the type as the new French Cannas are ahead of the old "Indian Shot." The flowers are larger, more double and the variety of colors is inflnitelv greater. The plants grow about 15 inches high, flowers alwavs erect. If taken up in the Fall, the plants bloom all "Winter, pkt. 10 cts., 3 pkts. for 25 cts. CALCEOLARIA, PRIZE STRAIN—The blooms are remarkable for their oddness of shape, for their size, and for richness, diversity and deli- cacy of coloring. Seeds may be sown from May to August, in light, rich, well sifted soil, and frequentlv transplanted. Tender perennials. One foot in height, pkt. 10 cts., 3 for 25 cts. CACTUS, MIXED VARIETIES—Beautiful plants for pot culture in the window or srreenhouse. pkt. 5 cts. COREOPSIS LANCEOLATA-Large golden yel- low flowers: profuse bloomer: keeps in flower throughout the Summer; one of the best hardv plants, pkt. 3 cts. CATCHFLY. MIXED—Showy, early-flowering garden annuals, pkt. 3 cts. BIYdABJCa.
