Notes This woodcut is one of forty-three woodcuts which were probably designed for a Plenarium or Postilla, to be published by Hieronymus Höltzel, 1503. They were never published in book form, but ten of them were used in Dietrich Veit, Kinder-Predig von Pfingsten bus auffs Advent, Nuremberg, 1548.
