Summary
[edit]DescriptionBoodle fight at Banate's Kasag Festival.jpg |
English: In celebration of the Kasag Festival in Banate,[1] the town's local government held a 'boodle fight' feast to strengthen social ties among citizens and visitors. Among these traditional hearty dishes is kasag (blue crab), which is the pride of the town laid out on banana leaves on a long-lined dining table.
In the context of Filipino culture,[2] the boodle fight is the practice of the military to eat food without any cutlery and dishes, instead, with their hands.
