Summary
[edit]DescriptionBonnie Prince Charlie's Cave - geograph.org.uk - 940032.jpg |
English: Bonnie Prince Charlie's Cave Whilst a fugitive following Culloden, Charlie was hidden here for several days in the summer of 1746 by the 'Seven Men of GlenMoriston'. The 'cave' is a jumble of fallen boulders with a small stream running through it.The '45 Association has placed a plaque on top of one of the boulders.
I have spent a rather uncomfortable night here since the ground is mostly stony and was damp! |
