English: Marathon, Attica, Greece: Archaeological Museum of Marathon: Palettes made of a animal long bone (probably femora) from tomb 12 (above), tomb 13 (middle) and tomb 12? (down) of the archaeological site of Tsepi (transition from Late neolithic II b / Final neolithic to Early helladic I / Early cycladic I, 3200-2800 BC). They were probably used with small grinding pestles for grinding pigments.
Deutsch: Marathon, Attika, Griechenland: Archäologisches Museum von Marathon: Paletten aus tierischen Röhrenknochen (vermutlich Oberschenkelknochen) hergestellt aus den Gräbern 12 (oben), 13 (Mitte), 12? (unten) der archäologischen Stätte Tsepi (Übergang von Spätneolitisch II B / Endneolithisch zu Frühhelladisch I / Frühkykladisch I, 3200–2800 v. Chr.). Sie wurden wahrscheinlich mit kleinen Pistillen zum Mörsern von Pigmenten verwendet. |
