Summary
[edit]DescriptionBone cave view - geograph.org.uk - 1461675.jpg |
English: Bone cave view The bones of wolves, bears, lynxes and arctic foxes have been found in these caves, but the only wildlife around on this occasion were midges [hungry ones]. On the opposite side of the valley the hilltop is capped by Torridon sandstone, which is much older than the Durness limestone which is underneath it - an interesting case of unconformity. |
