Description
English: The port town of Nemuro, located on Japan's northernmost main island of Hokkaido, burns after American naval aircraft dropped bombs on the city, 1945. During World War II Japan's northernmost main island of Hokkaido was attacked by U.S naval aircraft launched by aircraft carriers.
