Nederlands: Nijmegen werd in 1944 door zowel de USAAF als de Luftwaffe gebombardeerd. Door de USAAF op 22-02-1944 door een misidentificatie en misrekenening van de windsterkte; rond de 800 doden. Door de Luftwaffe op 02-10-1944, gericht op de Waalbrug en geallieerde postities. Hierbij vielen 93 doden. Deze foto is afkomstig uit het archief van de Fotodienst der NSB. |
