Summary
[edit]DescriptionBomb damage - geograph.org.uk - 102977.jpg |
English: Bomb damage. On the edge of Kingsmuir airfield, this is Sorbie farmhouse. It was almost destroyed by a bomb dropped by a German aircraft on 31 March 1941 and thereafter neither repaired nor demolished. Is it, I ask myself, the only building in the UK that is still standing exactly as it was left after being struck by an enemy bomb in WW2 ? |
