John Firth, of The Bungalow, Hole House Lane, Stocksbridge and died in Holme Valley Memorial Hospital, Netherthong. Holmfirth, Yorkshire. He was the son of Thomas and Eliza Annie and husband of Elsie of Horner House, Stocksbridge
Nora Adelaide Firth, of 24. Shay Road, Stocksbridge, she died at Holmfirth aged 51 and was the wife of Arnold Dawson Firth
Clifford Ellison, of 15, Shay Road, Stocksbridge, died in Holme Valley Memorial Hospital, Netherthong. Holmfirth, Yorkshire aged 36. He was the son of Vernon, (Coalminer) and Florence, nee Crossland of Hole House Lane, Stocksbridge
Thomas Yates who was the driver of the 32 seater coach may have died at the scene, of 14, Starmer Street, Cudworth died in Holmfirth he was 24. He is buried at St John the Baptist Churchyard on the 23rd October 1947

Alfred Pearson, son of Harold and Clara of Victoria Street, Stocksbridge and husband of Sarah Ann nee Rogers of 8. Spurley Hay Grove, Spink Hall Estate Stocksbridge and died at Holmfirth
Alan Hodginson, Aircraftman 2277248, Royal Air force Volunteer Reserve on leave, and was residing at 101, East Cresent, Stocksbridge Sheffield and died in Holme Valley Memorial Hospital, Netherthong. Holmfirth, Yorkshire. He is buried in St Mary's churchyard, Bolerstone
Robert Bock Broadband of 582, Manchester Road, Stocksbridge, Sheffield and died in Holme Valley Memorial Hospital, Netherthong. Holmfirth, Yorkshire. He was the son of Willie (Butcher) and Lucy Annie of Stocksbridge. Roberts occupation at one time was a local government clerk. He was at one time Private 58120, Manchester Regiment, on the formerly West Yorkshire Reserve Regiment. His occupation on enlistment 1918 was given as Farmer Horseman and resided in Stocksbridge. He embarked Folkstone and disembarked at Boulogne 18th October 1918 and joined the 12th West Yorkshire Regiment in the field, her transferred to the Manchester Regiment 20th October 1918 and saw service in Belgium. 25th January 1919 he was demobilized at Clipstone army camp near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
all died on a coach crash whilst en-route to Holmfirth to compete in music festival at Holmfirth on the 18th October 1947
