Description
Italiano: Bologna: monumento a Vittorio Emanuele II sulla piazza omonima (xilografia di Giuseppe Barberis).
La statua equestre di Vittorio Emanuele II, opera del 1884 dello scultore Giulio Monteverde, venne spostata da piazza Maggiore (dopo la fuga dei Savoia ribattezzata piazza della Repubblica) e collocata all'entrata dei giardini Margherita presso porta Santo Stefano. Da allora sarà conosciuto come "il monumento all'erba".
