Asters A. Asters provide the finest of long-stemmed cut-flowers during late summer and fall. They should be planted in a different location each year. A lovely companion to EI Monte, and practically a twin except for color which is dainty shell-pink. Pkt. 15c; ^oz. $1.00; ^oz. $1.75. 681. Finest Mixed Colors. Large full flowers of the Crego type with broad petals beautifully curled and inter- laced. The 3-foot plants bloom from late summer until frost with \Yi to 2-foot stems. The 4 to 5-inch flowers have a single row of long narrow petals which contrast with the unique yellow center disc of quill-like petals, each tipped with a four-pointed star. Pkt. 15c; J^oz. 85c; Moz. $1.50. HEART OF FRANCE ASTERS A. 684. The reddest of all red Asters. Medium-sized flowers of rich dark red. Blooms in late August on 1 Yi to 2-foot plants. Pkt. 15c; ^oz. 60c; Moz. $1.00. IMPROVED CREGO (Wilt-Resistant) The Crego is an Aster of truly beautiful form and this Improved Wilt-resistant type is a great advance.
