Notes
  • Significance: A significant part of the varied history of the Boise National Forest is embodied in the administrative structures built since the Forest was proclaimed. Several of these buildings are more than fifty years old, and have served beyond their useful lifespan. It is the intent of the United States Forest Service to remove the unsound structures. After consulting with the Idaho State Historic Preservation Office, fifteen of the Forest's administrative structures were determined eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places. Prior to their removal, photographic and photogrammetric recording of the buildings and the preparation of a set of measured drawings was agreed upon as the proper course of mitigation.
  • Survey number: HABS ID-66
