Summary
[edit]DescriptionBog north of Banc y Llyn - geograph.org.uk - 1170919.jpg |
English: Bog north of Banc y Llyn One of the largest bogs of the Elenydd, the darker bit in the middle feeds the Nant Biswail which passes to the east of Banc y Llyn and drains directly into the Nant Brwynog, while the bit in the foreground feeds the Nant Gwinau, which passes to the west of Banc y Llyn and reaches the Nant Brwynog via Llyn Gynon. The small dark ridge seen on the horizon is Gorllwyn. The 1:50000 map, which shows a stream passing under the photographer's feet, is wrong; see the 1:25000 map for the correct line of the stream. |
