Description

c/n 11547 Full US military serial 44-62070 Used as a range target at NAS China Lake between 1956 and 1971, she was saved by the Confederate Air Force (CAF) in 1971 and flew again in August that year. Named “FIFI” she is still operated by the CAF (which has since been renamed as the Commemorative Air Force) She took part in the 2015 Arsenal of Democracy Flyover on Friday 8th May 2015 to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of VE Day and the end of WW2 and is seen landing on the following Sunday while spending the day giving rides. Manassas Regional Airport, Virginia, USA
