Description
English: c/n 11547.

Built in 1945 with the US military serial 44-62070. Next year, converted TB-29A-60-BN. In 1950, fixed bomber type and moved to 310th Bombardment Wing. Converted to TB-29A again in 1953. Used as a range target at NAS China Lake between 1956 and 1971, she was saved by the Confederate Air Force in 1971 and flew again in August that year. She is named “FIFI” and is still operated by what has since been renamed as the Commemorative Air Force. She is seen carrying out rides on the morning of the Commemorative Air Force’s ‘Wings Over Dallas’ WWII Airshow. Dallas Executive Airport, Redbird, Dallas, Texas.
