English: A Rolls-Royce Conway 508 with cowlings removed for ramp servicing access. All early BOAC / BA 707's were fitted with the Conway, later 300 series aircraft had the Pratt & Whitney JT-3D. Later versions of the Conway, the 540 and 550 were fitted to the VC-10 and Super VC-10 respectively. |
