Summary
[edit]DescriptionBodysgallen Hall, Llandudno, Gwynedd, Wales 34.jpg |
English: This listed historical building derives primarily from the 17th century, and has several later additions. Bodysgallen was constructed as a tower house in the Middle Ages to serve as defensive support for nearby Conwy Castle. According to tradition, the site of Bodysgallen was the 5th century AD stronghold of Cadwallon Lawhir, King of Gwynedd.
Cymraeg: Mae'r adeilad presennol, sy'n gofrestredig, yn dyddio o'r 17g yn bennaf gydag ychwanegiadau diweddarach, ond mae'r safle yn hŷn o lawer. Bu gorthwr ar y safle yn yr Oesoedd Canol. Heddiw mae Bodysgallen yn westy.
Codwyd y prif adeilad presennol yn 1620 gan Robert Wynn, ac ychwanegwyd estyniad sylweddol yn un pen iddo yn y 19eg ganrif.
