Title
Body sherd of South Somerset ware
Description
English: Sherd of South Somerset ware. It has a yellow green lead glaze with yellow hotspots on the reverse. There is a cream coloured glaze trailed in a curvilinear pattern on the front surface. This type of pottery was made in Donyatt, South Somerset in the mid to late 18th century. The curved profile of the sherd suggests it is part of a pot or jug.
