English: Bodice of infant's gown (appears to be cut from a gown); cotton whitework on muslin; fine whitework embroidered panel with needlepoint infillings; gathered sleeves and embroidered frill around sleeves and bodice. "Very fine white cotton baby's bodice with short sleeves of fine seersucker edged with very fine handmade broderie anglais freii. V shaped front panel of Ayrshire lace, handmade edged with broderie ruffle. Neck edge finished with button hole edge broderie trim and French knots. (cut from skirt.) Slight soil and iron mould. No back fastenings."
