Summary
[edit]DescriptionBo Peep Bostal - geograph.org.uk - 962410.jpg |
English: Bo Peep Bostal Bostal is a local Sussex dialect name for a track ascending a steep hill and is quite prevalent along the northern escarpment of the South Downs. Many of the tracks up are part of old sheep routes from farms in the Weald, the majority have remained bridleways though some can thank the Second World War for being improved and subsequently allowing vehicular access up onto the Downs. Taken from the entrance of the former Bo Peep chalk pit. |
